How I Got Here.
No formal background. No head start. Just a kid who figured things out and never stopped.
Where It Started
Self-Taught From Day One
I got my first computer around 12 or 13 and jumped straight in — no classes, no budget. I taught myself video editing and Photoshop through trial and error, YouTube, and figuring out whatever I couldn't find anywhere else. That's still how I approach problems today.
Growing Up
Design Was the Constant
Computers, photography, visual work — that's where most of my time went, and I was serious about it. High school added graphic design, Illustrator, and formal design principles to a foundation I'd already built on my own. By the time I graduated, I had years of real practice behind me.
Vo-Tech — 11th & 12th Grade
The Backend Side of Things
Vo-tech opened up a different layer: computer networking and digital forensics. I learned how servers actually work, what sits behind the web pages, and how infrastructure is built and maintained. That's knowledge most web designers don't have. It's why I handle hosting differently.
First Real Sites
Proof That It Works
Still in high school, I built two websites — a roofing company and a fencing company for family. Both on Wix. Nothing pretty. But both generated real leads. That was the moment I understood: a functional website, even a basic one, brings in business. That's the only metric that matters.

After those first two, it kept happening. A flooring company I worked at. Different businesses, different people. Every project reinforced the same thing — good websites bring in customers. I was doing this work before MellowMeta existed. I just wasn't charging what it was worth.
